"This duo is rather astonishing — she's from Alaska and he's from England, and between them they play hammered dulcimer, fiddle, guitar, recorder and whistle, excellent percussion, sing, and have a wonderful stage presence.

"Their repertoire is vast, and includes things like sing-alongs in Russian. Credits include numerous UK and US tours and seven albums (including collaborations with Anne McCaffrey)..."
-Whidbey Island Folk Festival, Washington, USA

"Unquestionably the most talented duo we have ever had at this club... I've never seen so much variety in a single set."
-The Song Loft, Milton Keynes, England

String Theory CD cover NEW CD: String Theory - A compilation of new and previously released tracks, highlighting violin or fiddle.

“What's your favorite instrument?” people often ask. It’s one of those “which is your favorite child?” questions. We have always enjoyed the diversity of sounds we could bring to one CD with the wide range of instrumentation we use, but we do get more requests for recordings of fiddle or violin music than any other. So for a change we’re narrowing the focus to create a whole CD of music that is led, or in some cases driven, by the violin.
